Ive tried an tried an tried again... an I just cant get into hardstyle. Our generation was defeinately spoilt growin up.

Now dont get me wrong, id love to get to a "Bionic" event or something like that, but I just cant put it on an listen to it if yer know what I mean.

Im gonna dl this just to try again, but if its not happenin for me, then its over between me and hardstyle for good.

I was the same but after listening to some newer stuff it has grown on me. There is defo a more melodic sound to some of it now, rather than just screech screech bang bang.

A lot is very similar to the old skool hardcore sound as well, which i love :cheese:

Way back to "in complete darkness" "in effect" and "dominator" or more like "Jeeeehaaaaaa" and the dutch/charly lownoise & mental theo stuff???

Loved that "Yeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaaa" tune, gonna be singin that allnite now :dance: Mite even dig one of the old Kinetic sets out... Mikey B used to bang that out every week!

Listened to a few of the Prophet's sets recently and he puts in a few old skool tunes like them into his new sets, works a treat imo
