Guys,

Would any of you be able to help with this production technique.
It was used alot in Hardstyle. Also in JoyEnergiser (wooooooop, woooop, woop woop woop)

Basicaly controling the the repetition rate of a sample (could be the sysnth itself but id like to do it with vocals)

I know how to do it on the filter or the the volume, but is actualy the trigering of the note id like to do.

Im using Logic 8 on Mac.

Thanks !

Also, I have tried recreating the effect with bufferoveride, which is cool.
But i just cant get it to sustain the way i would like

Feed the sound through an LFO mapped to the filter and/or volume. Choose the shape of the lfo. Probably looking at a square for a more abrupt effect, or a 'saw' for an up or down 'fade'. Select the appropriate sync rate for the lfo and off ya go.

Thanks bro, but I have already been able to do that.

I want to be able to trigger the sample.

Par Example : a spoken word like "GO" so that the repetions of the word gets faster and faster. Go---------go----go--go-go-gogogogogogggggggggg-GO! LOL!

but not just by drawing in the notes, I want the smoothness of an LFO

yup ^^ although some call the time sig "slice time" but it amounts to the same thing.

Any suggestions on the best beat repeat plugin to use with in Logic then guys ? (Must be AU)

Damn I was hoping this was going to be something obvious i'd overlooked

if youve got ableton you can change & automate the start/end/loop points of a sample whilst it's playing.
