Following another great special guest mix from the previous week, we continue onto another DJ who has analyzed and completely reinvented himself and his sound to immense proportions
This week, we present to you…. D.Ramirez
Following a hugely successful career to present day including awards for Best Remix and Best Producer in DJ Magazine’s 2007 awards and 2006 saw him knighted as a Player Of The Year in iDJ, D.Ramirez has changed his style dramatically, tired of the over-peddled electrohouse sound, Dean’s moved on to pastures new. “I don’t feel comfortable with commerciality,” he states. “When people start expecting certain things of me I tend to back away.”
After much soul searching, and a move to a new studio, he began to brew a new sound. Inspired by the noises of his tough-talking DJ set, his sound now provides a deliciously deep house rhythm to grunting, shunting techno, proving his talents as a DJ are just as sharp as they are in the studio.
This is a mix that needs to be heard to believe, and once again a 100% exclusive to Clubbed Up Radio Podcasts.
Opening the show we have brought back a feature of the past, the infamous – CD Of The Week section. Liam Bulloch was the winner of the Circus DJ competition and is destined for big things. He says he's the "chin stroker of chin strokers". A "complete obsessive" when it comes to electronic music. His sound is a combination of Laurent Garnier meets John Digweed with his own added style and flavour each time. This mix will only ever be heard on Clubbed Up Radio, if you wanna taste of the future…. Then don’t miss out on this!
