yo so i have plugged it a million times already but for those who don't know i am experimenting with merging dubstep and hard techno/techno industrial with my new label CONSUME. http://www.myspace.com/consumerecordings
the first single is me alone on a hard vibe, the 2nd is mark broom and i as "the grey man" on a deeper vibe, the third is now confirmed with dutch "my black cock" rocker charleton, it is going to be interesting!!!
but anyway i am posting here on the forum today because CONSUME will have a sub label (vinyl as well) and i wanted to open the floor for DEMOS!
most of you know that i stopped accepting demos years ago as deafmo has been on hiatus...... but i would now like to give folks on the forum a chance to step out of the box and do some "techno/thrash/dub/dubstep/off beat" etc tunes for consideration for the yet to be named sub-label.
anyway participation is open to anyone and mp3s at minimum 320kbps should be posted on FTPs or sent via megaupload or yousendit or whatever....
proceeds from the records will be split 50%/50% with participating artists and the project is distributed world wide by rubadub.co.uk and triplevision.nl
this is a chance to lead the sound into a new direction!!!! those of you bored to tears with techno this is our answer!!!!
i am proud to have been one of the first (respect to a 2562 (a made up sound)on the other side of things) to ignore the lines between these (techno/dubstep/dub/industrial)genres i hope we can inspire more people to ignore genre lines and RECLAIM EXPERIMENTAL MUSIC from the snobby hairfarmers content to noodle instead of INVENT.
