That's a cracker alright - it can really shake a room. Proper (hard) minimal techno!!

hard minimal indeed....

it was way too toppy and harsh to be playable
overhyped rubbish if you ask me.

nonsense to you man you just didn't get it.... i guess you had to be there....i was in tokyo when exp came out, very indicative of ZANK and all the rest of the tokyo crew's sound at that moment.

Seriously?
I loved that sound, really funky hypnotic grooves. Experience was a killer track, playback, safety session, geylang.... I loved that stuff.

This album is pure sickness. I've taken more than one piss break by playing fourthinter and imageforum (b1 and b2) with that nice seamless breakdown between the two. Great album, easily in my top 20 of all time.

Production was a bit off (may have been bad vinyl mastering?) but the tunes were corkers.
Fun to mix with.

Come Again?
Just because you may not like a producers sound, doesn't mean someone else could not hold it in high regard.

nonsense

proably not the best example of a shufflemaster track though.
1 loop for 5 mins that doesn`t do much.
He has done more interesting stuff.

Actually hearing some of that stuff again, the production is a bit thin and scrapey.
But everyone starts somewhere right?

if you're into it you're into it.
he has done one or 2 good ones I'll give yout that
but no , I never liked his sound I always thought it really let his tracks down.

he and zank made early tracks wit sony ACID software. the tunes came out real tinny and loopy. it's funny how this thread is called "tatsuya kanamori" instead of just "shufflemaster" i could put a japanese name on a monkey turd and put it behind some gear with some hawtin glasses and you all would line up to learn the kanji that spell it's name hahaa.

anybody remember takaaki? this fool is "famous for being japanese" if anybody is. take takaaki itoh tunes and put a russian face on em for example and NOBODY WOULD GIVE A SHIT enough to listen twice... but in spain and russia OH -------- THE JAPANESE GUY ----------- OH

i swear to god if i taped my eyes back and started calling myself YOSHIO WATANABE or some shit i would get more bookings, more gigs and even more blow jobs from eastern euro chicks HAHAHAH sorry if it ain't politically correct but IT'S TRUE! takaaki, go hiyama, hiroaki, INTERCHANGEABLE TRACKS BY GENERIC JAPANESE "ARTISTS" who are content to be "the japanese guy" and not define a new sound...

I always thought he could have tried a bit harder on some tracks (a 5 min loop just feels lazy...) but he did some quality, quality sh*t too:
