Returning back into tested waters – VIVa Music gets set to cause a second stir with a return to its exclusive new home on 16th May at Ministry Of Sound.

After causing chaos with its fiery launch,VIVa Music has joined forces with Ministry Of Sound in making it, its exclusive humbling abode. Like proud parents - boasting the success of the roadblock party back in January, with Steve Lawler and special guest Adam Beyer, we now prepare for the next instalment of this exciting new residency on Saturday 16th May. We can now confirm that VIVa will be back throughout the year with three more special parties.

A one man showcase that expels any preconception of electronic music, rocking the decks for an unquestionably welcomed return, Steve Lawler will be stomping Ministry Of Sound’s infamous Box on Saturday 16th May with a driving 3 hour set. Joining him in his crusade, special guest Paul Kalkbrenner of Ellen Allien’s bpitch control label will be playing his first live set in London of 2009. Established German DJ/Producer; Marc Romboy joins this army of high profiled talent to cause a storm on the dance floor. After fathering successful Label ‘Systematic,’ which plays home to some of Europe’s biggest DJ offerings, the pioneer has rocked the airwaves with his distinctive style and mesmerising sound. With a guest appearance on Radio 1’s essential mix and a wave of releases to add to his back-catalogue, the man has spent the last decade rising from strength to strength. There’s no telling what this man will pull-out the bag, but it’s guaranteed to send the crowd into a frenzy, providing a range of ‘emotional’ techno to deep hypnotic beats.

Responsible for causing riot on the dance floor, producer of the moment, SIS will be headlining The Bar. With two of 2008’s biggest tracks, ‘Trompeta’ and ‘Nesrib’ under his belt, we can only foretell greatness as this rising superstar takes to the decks.

Striking gold for a second time, getting its feet firmly under the turntable - VIVa Music is sure to endure mass bedlam on south London’s, Elephant and Castle. They say all good things come in three’s, letting you into a little summer secret, VIVa Music will be keeping us toasted on Saturday 22nd August for another dosage of after light action.

As the founding father still revels in the success that has earned this progressive-house commander, extra stripes, Steve Lawler reminisces on the night VIVa Music popped its Ministry Of Sound cherry. “The First party was a huge success; we had Viva music artists in every room. The main room at Ministry is undoubtedly one of the best rooms in the entire world. MOS has gone through so much during its times, but that main room is untouchable it’s made for music and music only, there are no tables, no glitchy lights, no mirrors. Just a perfect square box for music. I love it.”
