silva is the one that would make the difference to us.

swap defensive for attacking. weve got enough defensive midfielders mash,lucas,sperring etc. we dont have anyone attacking thrugh the middle apart from gerrard.

Alonso looks like a different player in the Spanish National squad.

i don't think playing alongside a thuggish wanker like Gerrard has helped him since being at liverpool.

an idea would be to splash everything on david villa to partner torres, and drop gerrard back into the centre therefore providing a much more attacking threat with masch to cover
