I take it that the headphones are the HD25 or 25sp's which use a sort of spade connector for each ear piece.

I have got them in stock at work, not cheap mind £23.50 each !! inc p&p

If you want one give me a ring 01305-781579 (Weymouth HiFI) & Ask for rich & ill see what i can do ;)

Tossers people that do stuff like that. I'd make them all pay something or grass the person up who did it.

damn, those headphones are soooo good that you have to get the proper cable. i read a thing inside saying how there was more oxygen in the copper or something, that helps the passing of the signal.
ppppppppppppppppproper headphones!!! not gay sony big plastic silver shit things that i cant stand, ooh they make me mad!!

I had a couple o' pairs (hd75's and hd200's) and both ****ed up within 6 months, one of the hd75's within 3 weeks. Not doing anything crazy with them, just mixing in a cold garage.

Sennheiser then said it wasn't their fault, so now left with 4 headphones that are useless. They might be good quality, but ripping you off on cost to begin with and then further f**king-you-in-the-ass when you need help has destroyed any reputation I had of them.

Nice pair of Sony's now though, beleive their called "silver pieces of shit"?

I've had a pair of Sennheiser HD 565 Ovation for 5 years now - they are fully modular so when something gets broken such as a cable you can just plug a new one in (£15 rather than £150 for a new pair). And the sound reproduction is simply the best I have heard.

the HD25's with the 'double head band' are probably the best you can get IMHO. they cost around 120-130 quid, which is a bit expensive, but simply the best

the sennheiser are my prefered ... i have hd 25sp "custumized" to have the cable only on one side and avoiding the speakers to "turn" .. so now they are as kewl as the hd25 (except for the sound) ... ill buy hd 25 when i have more money =)

the fact is that seinnheiser terribly leak in mediums / low mediums ... they are not good at all for mastering tracks , and for people playing "non drummy tracks" .. the people playing drummy tracks will love it coz it has some ****ing deep bass =)

I think that might be true of some models but my sennheiser are far better than my Hafler reference monitors or Eltax loud speakers both of which I love.

ture they are dj headphones =)))

about the mediums thingie you can hear the difference simply by listening to the sony, im so used to my sh that i actually cant mix well using sony, the mediums hurt my tears (though the sony are nearer to the "real" sound"

they do fit on my head but strangle me when around my neck ... buggers.

sennheisers look much cooler too in matt black not tacky silver paint!
