does look nice, but will it sound any good. Have liked their Drumazon and the 808 one, not been that keen on their 303 (prefer ABL) or fx units (ok have a particular sound, but just ok).

my position is quite opposite - vsts like phoscyon or drumazon sound lot better the abl products to me. i can't wait to check it. it's hard to find a good emulation of sh101 and this one look more then just an emulation

I like the look of it, how much will they charge?

Jesus, there`s like a hundred SH101 emulations out there now. It was never a good synth to begin with, and certainly not a hard one to emulate.
Nice GUI, but just another SH101. TC Works MErcury already did it perfectly like, 8 years ago?

New synthesis methods please.

yea not cool- still love the devastor - i hve the phoscyon and abl - love them both for different reasons - wish d16 would take a look to the future.

looks good. d16 aimed on replicating old good Roland machines, and i guess they are good init.

as said already, there is plenty of sh101emulation, TAL is my favourite one, but still this one looks pretty nice, so will deffinitely check it out.

I'll be checking this out.
I fecking love my 'Real' SH101.
909 rimshot on every beat fed into the ext clock on the 101. Then use the onboard 101 sequencer, jobs a goodun..

That's not a synth. It's a picture of a synth, that one must assume is something to do with some software...?

This is a synth:

yawn ****ing yawn.

who cares if its soft or hard? if you really need to fool yourself that theres a huge differance in sound between the latest vsti and hardware then go aead.. it might help you justify the prices in the 2nd market.

Your lass..?

It's nothing to do with sound, it was a joke, Mr grumpy!

Though I just can't seem to get all excited about virtual things! Maybe I need some therapy to bring me into the 21st century lol.

Anyway this didn't cost me a penny, certainly wouldn't pay the silly prices people think it's worth!
