This is a mix we have been waiting all year for!! Its taken a while to tie this set down, and now we can reveal that on this Clubbed Up show comes a boundary breaking dj who has always been at the top of his game, we present... Hollands finest... Michel De Hey!
Michel is one of the people who took responsibility for dance music and its direction on the local Rotterdam scene. With his talent both as a producer and as a DJ, Michel opened the door to techno and techhouse for generations of clubbers. Next to playing at homebase Nighttown Michel is doing gigs such as: MTC, Cruises to Pleasure, Club Risk, The More, Now & Wow, Kozzmozz, Silly Symphonies, Chemistry, The End London, I-Love-Techno, La Rocca, Café d'Anvers, Dance Valley @ Amnesia Ibiza and Haoman 17 Jerusalem, not to forget festival events such as Dance Valley Holland, Impulz, Concept, New Frontier, Four Elements and Lowlands. Further he is to be found at cultural events such as the North Sea Jazz and the Gergiev Festival with on top of it the Heineken Fast Forward Dance Parade in Rotterdam. Last year about 400.000 people visited Rotterdam to participate in this annual street parade. Each year DJ Michel de Hey is responsible for the theme song for this Rotterdam Cultural event. Last year's 'Let the music be your guide' entered the Dutch Top-40-Charts.
Aside from DJing, Michel manages his life continuously around music by pushing his production career and the several record labels he has had over the years, each revealing a great track record of hits, ones that have propelled him to super stardom and gigs globally. A clever ear for music has brought some unique artists to the fold and advanced Michel's sound combining house and techno and a sound that has made him such a high profiled dj for many years.
Complimenting this mix, will be a highly honoured blend from Danny Roberts & James Burn who will provide a comfortably groovy house and techno combo of today's colourful musical scene.
