no it has a compact flash reader - I think you're thinking of the mpc4000?

the 1000 is relatively new - smaller than the mcp2000

Yeah, it must be the 4000 im thinking of! Wouildnt know about the 1000 mate, but if its anything like its brothers, then it should be a good buy.
