Hi guys, Simon here, just wanted to let you know about our next free party that we have lined up for this bank holiday weekend. We’ve sorted an excellent daytime session of lively underground house and techno to be rolled out over a state of the art sound system brought in especially for the occasion at the rather brand spanking new pub (of sorts) called THE HOBBY HORSE, located innocuously along Kingsland Road. You’ll know you’re at the right place thanks to a blackboard outside stating the bar’s name (signs are so un-cool after all) and the collection of smokers who haven’t realised there’s a smoking area out the back. This place is random, miscellaneous, up-and-coming and definitely Dalston.
Once inside you’ll discover a Victorian playroom complete with rocking horses, peculiar black chandeliers, Victorian style curtains and antique mirrors adorning the walls, there's even a dressing up box and an area set aside for tarot reading. Combine atmosphere like this with cheap drinks and four of HOUSE FM’s premier selectors putting you through your paces and you definitely can’t go wrong.
