Alongside Stockholms Cari Lekebusch, Joel Mull and Jesper Dahlback, Adam Beyer has become synonymous with the techno sound of Sweden, which has quite literally shaken the world since the mid-nineties. From the driving percussive force of his Drumcode label to the more open electronic miasma on his current Truesoul and Mad Eye imprints, Beyer remains one of the biggest and most influential producer/DJs on the planet.
MAURO PICOTTO (Meganite)
Mauro Picotto is the first Italian DJ ever to create a successful event known across the globe. He has been the first and only Italian featured amongst the world’s top ten DJs. And his most successful creation, Meganite, is electronic music lifestyle at 360 degrees. It is a musical journey that touches all cultures and trends in all nations. Beautiful, electronic music that knows how to evolve, creating an atmosphere enjoyed by clubbers around the world.
CHRISTIAN SMITH (Tronic)
Like Beyer a Swedish citizen, Christian Smith spent the late 80’s years in Germany soaking up the early house and techno sound of Sven Vath. Now based in Sao Paulo, he has been championing his funky mix of house and soulful techno for more than a decade, playing across Asia, North & South America, and Europe, plus regular slots at festivals like UK’s Creamfields, Holland’s Dancevalley, Spain's Monegros and Belgium’s I Love Techno.
ED MACKIE (Colour)
Colour resident Ed Mackie is moving fast up the ranks. Supporting some of the biggest names including Jeff Mills, Chris Liebing, Dave Clarke, Speedy J & Laurent Garnier to name a few. Booked to play Creamfields for the 3rd year running, Mr Mackie is set for another big year.
