If I'm not mistaken, that is one of the first albums, if not the first album, to use the roland TB303

it can't be mate, first TB303 has been produced by Roland in 1981,
but yeah track sounds very solid and the "acidic" sound was made by probably one of the earlier synthesizer.

anyway the history of the electronic music is much longer than most people thinking, look at the artist "John Cage"

John Cage Discography at Discogs (http://www.discogs.com/artist/John+Cage)

This guy produced "electronic" music from 1930's

YouTube - John Cage "Imaginary Landscape No. 1" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CVN_mxVntXk)

1939

i could called it "early experimental, ambient"

Yeah, sorry, I was refering to the album that morbid linked to. Which was from 1982. I've not found an album earlier which uses the 303. (though there may well be some)

I'll check that stuff from the 30s, I like a bit of ambienty stuff.
