i've been wondering the same - i think they are pitchin up!
i have slowed my hardstyle down a bit recently, prefer it a bit more ploddy when listening to, but at the party, +16 and over :twisted:

personaly i think quite alot of hardstyle sounds better faster like hardcore speed evn though am not a big fan of hardcore. :eh: ;) :neutral:

the whole point of hardstyle in my opinion is that it retains all the harsh brutal sounds of gabba and hardcore, but at a reasonable, dancable speed. pitched up i think it just sounds like cheaply made hardcore (some of it).

I think that hardstyle will survive longer as u might think cause it's a style who desurfes a change.... here in holland when hardcore changed many people didn't liked it any more.... but whit hardstyle every change seems to do great.... hardbass, destorted drums, industrial, extreme, cheesy, commercial..... afther 4 and a half year hardstyle seems to have more styles which can be mix to other styles like hardtrance, hardtechno, hardcore and hardbass/ hardstyle so..... :rambo:

don't get me wrong i love hardstyle, well some of it, but you can't just mix hardstyle!!! It gets boring!! They use the same basslines and the same repetitive melodys!! Beep beep bopp!! A little bit of hardstyle and lots of trance thats what io reckon!!!!

i agree it does use the same bassline alot so does tend to sound very similar sometimes but there is good hardstyle out there m-zone is putting some good sets out at the moment with some very different hardstyle thats not always got the same bassline

I agree mate Hardstyle is only good in moderation as a lot of it tends to sound the same altough i dunno if you should of posted that in this forum!
