I'm not much a fan of it to be honest. Looks fancy, but ultimately crap. Give me 2 decks and a wad of vinyl any day.

Yeah bit gimmicky but it appeals to my love of futurism. Besides, you would still love to have a go on it :rucool:

How do you know it's crap if you have not had a go of it your self?

I don't. It looks like something that would be found in a trendy cocktail bar fiddled with by a scarf wearing fan boy. I didn't say that it is crap to use, I honestly don't know. It looks fancy, but ultimately crap.

My opinion of course.

Ah too right. I wouldn't say no to an old poke of it tbh. I suppose if you had a bar called "The Starship enterprise" it would fit right in. You'd have to have Jordi La forg hammering it out though.

I'm not sure how practical it would be. The buttons are really quite far apart as the surface is so wide, so it'd be very different to using a normal mixer, and also as it is all touch screen you don't have the same tangible feeling of the knobs, faders etc. The dude in the video is mixing pretty slowly, and I don't know how easy it'd be to do multiple commands simultaneously or quickly, as it is all wide apart and nothing to grab hold of. Again, I'm judging all of this from a youtube video and havent ever touched the thing itself, but I think I'd much prefer the "real" feel of a mixer in my hands to sliding my fingers across a screen, which I can;t imagine would be very precise.

But you can't say it's crap till you have had a go of it

Wouldn't mind a go of it. Reckon they'd lend it to me for a weekend?

looks pretty, but i'd prefer actual pots and faders to play with. This would slow mixing down.

as much as touch screen technology has advanced , I dont trust this at all. the amount of trouble one may have with a touch screen phone . like u dont want the screen to delay or fail while playing a gig defeats the purpose. would love to have a shot tho
