it looks to be in its infancy right now, but it being apple it's sure to grow quickly.

Yup. Apple run a music store, and now have a social thing attached to the music store where everyone can post charts and talk about the music they like, and even BUY IT from the music store... $$$ for Apple!

I'll stick with Soundcloud, thanks.

Unlike Apple CEO Steve Jobs, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has a public profile on Ping, the iTunes social network.

Zuckerberg likely wanted to see what the new social network on the block had to offer. The second person to leave a comment on Zuckerberg's page told him all he needs to know: "nothing to worry about here... Ping kinda sucks."

I'm not sure we will, Mark. Web trends kind of dictate that the negativity toward it so soon indicates a fail. Look at Google Buzz. On the Net a company is only allowed to grow so big before it's nipped in the bud.
