have you got all day for an answer?

the basic answer on equipment would be a lot of old analog synths, samplers and drum machines. if you were to recreate the studios they had back then you'd be looking at thousands upon thousands of $.

in software i would suggest:

sampler - kontakt (with as many vintage synth libraries that you can afford, especially any sequential circuits or roland system 100 libraries)
drum machines - all d16 emulations (909, 808 & 606)
synths - NI FM7, Arturia vsti (prophet v, minimoog v etc), audiorealism bassline (for 303 sounds), sonic timeworks sh1001

as to how they were assembled - unless you can get your hands on the multitracks or unless the producers have spoken about it in interviews somewhere, its anyones guess. the only way to figure it out is to have a listen and break down the parts you can hear one by one.

i would suggest the dark art of 'trying'

oxio domino is just an arp running through different pitch and tempo with some synths washes in the middle and simple bass in the background.

am i wrong?

the synth and bass from Domino is a piece of piss to replicate. Not sure about jaguar though tbh.

knights isn't that difficult to recreate.
Its mainly fairly simple presets with reverb and phasers on top. Nice gear and nice studio involved, but not exactly groundbreaking production or engineering. Its the ideas and arrangement that make that track what it is.

Domino - will check how it goes and get back to you.

It would help to explain if I know what you're using first of all.
