we're thinking of going into mastering at the studio. we have a dedicated room right beside our tracking studio, acoustic treatments and some nice nice equipment awaiting our decision to do it or not.

so anyway we're going to do a few masters for free to see if we're up to scratch and if clients would be happy to use the service. if the feedback isnt great then we'll knock it on the head for now.

anyway, i'd like to do 2 free techno tracks for you guys and get your feedback.

first two people to post "im in" in this thread gets a track each done. but please have a track thats release quality to send immediatly and be honest with yourself, if its a bad mix i will send it back to you.

thanks

Want to give props to Barry for doing a bang up job with his mastering. He took a pretty raw, slightly mushy, muddy track with a less than optimal mix, some phasing issues and pretty poor stereo positioning (I'm a pretty lazy producer, and rely on mastering engineers being good at their job) and Barry has made it tighter, punchier, louder and generally made it shine.

The track he mastered for me is on my soundcloud here:
Jay Pace - Jay Pace - Murda Mile (Free Download) - SoundCloud (http://soundcloud.com/jaypace/murda-mile)

I'd recommend downloading the full WAV file, soundcloud's 128kb player version won't do it justice.

Excellent work mate. Bravo.
