i think it must be the northern influence but most of the tunes ive bought of late have been proper techno or trance tunes with some hard house influences and im loving every last one of them

anything on hotwax traxx, uk hard, honeypot, short circuit etc i have been wide eyed and eager to buy after the instant of hearing - uk hard stuff espeically.

Also of course smackin out the hard trance

Yeah I agree, Guyver's tunes arnent that bad, I wouldnt play them out but they are pretty good. But in that sorta UK way I like the Nu-Energy stuff and alot of the more UK hard trance.

I really cant stand guyver and lee haslem and the likes, just massive riffs put over the top of weak and shallow kicks and b-lines... just not for me at all.

Quite like jon doe and stuff, hes a real good producer but again i wouldnt play his stuff out. Like some of the gear Eufex is boshin out at the mo... but hh and Uk hard trance arnt for me. Its just hard house is it not?

Some stuff needs to be pidgeonholed to define it apart from other genres, hard trance is not trance, detroit techno is not the same as hard techno and happy hardcore has god awfull singing in it which makes it nothing like hardcore.
