i like to get a general idea how vitalic produces his tunes.

it seems he uses wonky pitch to his synths.

he is very versatile like all great producers should be too:

goes from poppy songs to hard acid:\

YouTube - vitalic - you are my sun (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q15NJbN4y14)

YouTube - Vitalic - My Friend Dario (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NOtmWxqN1fY)

to

clockwork orangesque (love this song):

YouTube - Vitalic - Trahison (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IGyj9sMwd38&feature=fvwrel)

to hard blazing acid/techno:

YouTube - vitalic - newman (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdjFqf7HfrY)

YouTube - Vitalic "repair machines" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sCWhWF-UUo0&feature=related)

YouTube - Vitalic-Candy (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5xWnHX8pcXY)

modern day genius, but how is it done?

ps i've been listening tons of vitalic today.:icon16:

it sounds like he is using lot of 8bit sounds, probably SIDstation, or any clone based on famous commodore sid sound engine...
