Hi guys,
Please excuse the downtime for Blackout Audio Forums/site recently - it was all due to the fact we've had a spring clean on the server and polished up/tweaked the security. Nothing's particularly noticeable from your end but under the hood there's been tonnes to do especially as Sinner (who used to handle alot of this for us) has been ridiculously busy with other stuff for a good few years, so I'm having to do it all myself. Systems Administration is one hell of a geeky world but TBH it's been a wonderful learning experience - It's quite exciting stuff!
Anyway we're back up and running and that's the main thing. Just to let you know, up until I started to tackle the server Chrissi and I were seriously hard at work in the studio. Blackout Audio is about to focus more on digital (we'll be sticking the odd release for vinyl though!) and the first few releases in purely in that format will be from our pseudonym The Anxious over the coming months. We've also been using another alias for a slightly different style of techno we've been working on - although we're keeping this super quiet and it's gonna be interesting to see people's reaction when they realise it's us!!! Then we've also been working with Chris Liberator and Sterling Moss on some acid techno down in London (I think we've done about five tracks now!).
