sounds like old acid techno stuff. my flatmate does stuff like this as he is a total roland and analogue purist. he wants to press, so i'm pleased to read that there would be a few folk down with that :-)

oh i absolutely love this shit -
yes def check out dropbass - one of my fav labels - its a mix - some of there stuff is speedcore and some is jsut nasty ass hard acid techno - however teh kiks on drop bass stuff is usually a bit more solid then bounce -

its too bad most poeple cant take full sets of 303 -

My advise is to download some Chris Liberator mixes off Kazaa.

It reminds me of some old skool stuff I used to have. Found it on a CD called Afterburner 140bpm+ or something. Most of the CD was shit, but there was a couple of hard acid tracks like that.

I'd drop something like that in my sets just now for some variety. Probably near the start.

A mate of mine played Public Energy - Three O' Three at the weekend, and it went down a treat.

...and the tribe of munt set by Audio Pancake, posted earlier this week, has some slamming acid lines :)

No seriously. I know what you mean.

There is hard 'acid house' which is different from 'hard house' with an acid line - and there is hard 'acid techno'. ...and the later is a bit muddied by the evolution of the London scene.

Woody McBride aka DJ ESP is really the godfather (IMHO) of acid techno. He released DBN01.

http://www.pureacidmixtapes.com started as a hard 'acid techno' site back in the mid 90s but its gone cross-genre now. I think you'll love this if you want hard 'acid techno'

DJ Tron (Chicago) - The Acid Sides $15.00

Both ACID sides from the double tapes 'End of the F*cking World' and 'F*cking Harder than the Devil Himself', now on CD. Angry, angry hard acid techno. 45 min + 45 min (2CD)

woody is the godfather of borrowing a 303 and then putting out records with the owner's unchanged patterns.

oh please.

you cannot say chris liberator plays anything like the clip i showed.

he plays london techno and hard house.

the audio pancake thing at tribe of munt is acid, but nowhere near as hard/dark/evil as the clip i showed also. just old 303 techno riffs, not hardcore.

the clip i showed has a hard kick with a dark acid sound, chris liberator does not play dark. but hey im not getting into this one again.

peace

peace. I was just joshing with you. I know exactly what you mean. I just like it, init. I understand why you say its hard house and don't mind - its just the dismissive tone that some people use when in many people opinion its ranks uo there with the most avin it acid tunes ever.
