Hi, long story short I sold my 1210's recently. The new owner has said that under the slip mat the paint is all chipped. I thought this was just normal wear, however he's kickin off, an wants 20 quid to repair it.

Has anyone else ever encounters this? Is there an easy to repair? I presume it'd just be a case of softly sanding down then re painting.

I've not painted anything, wondering if there is an easy way to repair it

Tell him no one is going to see it as its under the slip mat which is under the vinyl.

Tell him to bolt mate

He was saying the slip mat was catching on the chipped paint. Bollix like, I never experienced that problem. Ended up chuckin him a tenner. Got the cash back I paid for them bout 6 yrs ago tho so not too bad!

more hassle than it's worth - just give the bugger 20 quid and be done with it imho
