First a brief re-introduction! Under Your Nose is the spin-off and totally FREE netlabel of Kiss My Bass Recordings. The idea here is a truly multi-genre approach, you might find something to play out, you might find something to kick back and listen to or spin on a radio show/podcast. You might find something you hate so much you have to burn it to CD just so you can throw it away. So with that out of the way allow us to present our first full release...

Simon Heartfield has been tinkering his way through the UK techno scene for many a year. His productions have a breadth which takes in electronica and industrial influences whilst maintaining a groove to tap a toe to. His Rehacer series started many moons ago when UYN was in its original incarnation, a local Portsmouth based club night with free CDs on entry. The series revolves around him remixing some of his favourite tracks from fellow electronic artists, some with a fair following of their own.

On this volume Simon takes on Udy's Cracked from the last Kiss My Bass release plus a track from US band Mr Meeble, kicking out a winding electronica rap track. Chris Jarman puts down his DnB Raiden guise to bring us the excellent Kamikaze Space Program and is not spared the Rehacer treatment in the process. Finally fellow Portsmouth musician Keith Seatman put up a track for remix, resulting in the industrial metallic Highdown.

Peace!
