A fine first year for the Dust: The Don himself, Andrew Weatherall christened proceedings as the crowd were sacrificed by techno’s dark angel. Candles were blown out and alters were torched as the sold out celebrations reached a religious fervour.
Next up on the Dust menu is Surgeon. The Dust Social Club welcomes the man, who for many remade the techno template back in 1995. Since then he’s been on re-mixing duties for Jeff Mills and Dave Clark and along the way constantly reinvented and evolved the form, leaving nothing in his wake except a vapour trail.
For your pleasure, Dust Social Club: aka ‘The Earl of Arundel & Surrey of Queens Road, Sheffield’, will be providing barrels of cheap ale, stout and lagers for you and the beautiful people to sup a plenty. Good company and beer: It’s the Dust Way©.
