Just wondered what the latest techniques being used by people are?
Im still hooked on Trilogy for bass..
Been using Vanguard a lot recently, but it doesnt really offer anything new, just does the classic trance sounds done really well.
Also still really taken aback by the silver spike reverb plugin, its so nice and warm... however it uses about 40% of my cpu with the high and low damping on!!
Ive been totally getting out of using any mastering plugins at all, the only thing ive been tempted to use is a Mastering EQ on the master out tailing off frequencies under 38hz and above 17000... try and let the guy who masters our tracks to do his worst nowadays :)
Also been using less and less compression on my bottom end, a little is well important i agree, but its far too easy to over compress... where if the compression is to little it can be worked out before going onto vinyl.
Also still quite hooked on quadrafuzz, the eq part of it rocks, you can drastically change the tamest sound into something really raw and wild.
This Hard Trance production forum doesnt really get used enough imo, (hence the post) im sure we could all beneift from it loads as there are some wicked trance producers on this forum :)
so come on!!!! get your secrets out!! heheheh
