Please help, I am looking for closure on these subjects:-

HMS is for me an absolute legend, but i cannot find jack information on him (truely underground i think so) . Ive heard stories that hes now a crack head or hes a car salesman? Im just after any information, i.e- such as why he retired?, where was he from, anybodys memories from his sets? photos?

The Technodrome- You may be thinking 'get a life/move on' (im also considering the question) but my clubbing career has not been the same since the technodrome im sure im not alone? I dont think ill ever experience anything like that again and im so glad i did. Everything seems to fall short. Does anyone feel the same?

As with everything make this most of it while you still have it because nothing lasts forever.

Cheers all the technodrome crew, cheers meg for some wicked, wicked times (i dont like arse kissing but thanks).

Sorry if this is complete b*****ks!
Hopefully i can now move on!

I have heard the same rumors....my only memory is dancing for an hour on my own to a full on H.M.S. set @Depot Bristol in about 97 last I ever saw of him.....no-one else could handle it apart from me and it nearlt killed me....some girl came over half way through his set and gave me an ice lolly to cool me down (she thought I was mad)

HMS was the man back in the day, i've got the tape of his set at Skelta Imgaination 96-97. Powerfull stuff, solid extreme speedcore terror, non-stop, one of the best sets i've heard in the history of music, just for the pure attitude.

Plus, who can forget HMS and Lofty back 2 back, legendary speedcore warriors...

Crazy...

I hope 'Loft' has improved his mixing skills since the late ninties. Even the CD he released was mixed incredibly badly...

Back in the day though, he was the 'hardcore master', and no-one can deny that...

ive got some crazy lofty tapes, i can understand why a lot of his mixing was loose though, it was going at about 1000bpm

I got older Lofty tapes where his mixing is nothing short of awesome, cuttin with the cross-fader like a beast but keeping the beats tight as f**k...

HMS was always a good beat mixer too, despite the high BPMs...

hms is a crackhead...or was last time i saw him a few years back...he took money from a friend of mine to play in liverpool and spent it all on rocks...sold his record collection as well......
**** knows where he is now...

him and lofty had a big fall out...one or the other had a go of the other ones missus...and one of them was lookin to kill the other one....
lofty went off the rails late 99...started playin dnb in the technodrome which didnt go down too well.....he also sold his collection and when he played in north a couple of years back just lent a pile of tunes from simon underground and proceeded to mix shitely...

dont get me wrong....back in the day these two guys were legends....but really....
all they did was play deathchants on 45!

DJ H.M.S is not a crack head. He's alive & well and working in London. Go to www.ush.net & go into the general hardcore section. Info on him is there. Loftgroover is a UK garage DJ now by the way...
