i thought this was a good mix, tune selection was good an i liked the build up except for that first tune, i thought that was a little cheesy.

Nice one for being honest, It seems to be that first tune that's the problem, I didn't really look at it that way until people started mentoining it, to me it was a tune without a trancey riff that built up to the next tune I didn't want to kick off with a full on trance record. I'll have to pick a better building tune next time.

Yes it is a good mix... perhaps the start is slightly commerical sounding but that doesn't last long and there is some very good tracks in there. It shows that you have talent.

There's an even nastier mix on the B1 side (lorenzo de Preti). I played that mix coz it was the last tune on the CD. It's a well hektic tune!

Just received some feedback from one of the promoters I sent the CD to, his comments were that my mixing was fine but the mix lacked structure and the tunes were too hard! Would anyone agree with this? I think he's new to the harder end of the spectrum so looking at it from his point of view I can see where he's comming from. Anyone?

i think this is probably why he said this, ive noticed your into alot of the uplifting trance so why dont you do an uplifting mix and get it off to him?

I was going to do that but i've been busy recently building up my collection of techno trance to a point where i'm happy, the tunes I got through the post today were all uplifting trancers so i'll get on with it tonight.
The funny thing is he offered me the last set but I'd rather not have him think of me as someone who just plays Hard, I love playing all types of trance. So even though he's letting me play i'm still going to send him an uplifting mix.

Yeh, but only twice! first time was a complete disaster, I did too many drugs coz I was so nervous and made a complete hash of the mixing, second time was good though, its so difficult to get a play nowadays, even at free parties, why do you ask?
