okey dokey peoples.. here's a treat for you.

1 X hardcore / hardstyle / new skool gabba trance mix.

wtf is one of them?

i dunno!

i've been developing a set of the very hardest hardstyle, verging on the lines of hardcore and new skool gabba (please note i am using the dutch/belgium terminology, no dj vibes or dougal here!)
almost 8 months worth of collecting has resulted in just over an hours worth of mix, which i finnaly managed to get recorded!
i have to say that this is hard and if you like nice uplifting flowing stuff, it's not for you...
if your into the harder side of our scene but can't be dealing with the speed of hardcore then this is for you! trust me - that's why i've been after this style, admited it's faster then your average hardstyle mix, but again trust me on that one, it's the right speed to really get down, grind your teeth and stoooooooooomp at!
your comments and feedback would really be appreciated!

very good tune, i was a bit dubious about the bloke chatting on about rubbish for a good 20 seconds, but the b-line and screeches more then makes up for it!
picked it up in Amsterdam and it's on recessrecords.nl if you want it... (let me know tho as i have a small order waiting for more tunes to be added to off recessrecords and i'll bundle it in with that , save on shipping etc..)

yea, Sargent, if you could .rm it for me I would be most grateful.

big thanks to Sargent for helping out in the first instance - don't think your 56k can cope with the upload! cheers for the help tho, made me investigate it all further.
have to say that it hasnt turned out very good quality, so get the MP3 if you like what ya hearing off the stream.

Nice one Chaz, Banging Mix! Well and truley Dark and Underground.
Very, very good Playlist! Thats defintley a unique style you have there. Its got The "Thud" In the Kick Drums from Gabba, but its not the silly speed of Gabba. Mixing was quality aswell (well from where i've heard up to!!)
Defintley Hardstyle but bordering onto a non-cheesey form of Gabba, a very unique style which has trancey elements in it. But you can defintley see the difference from for example, 'Uberdruck.' There is a distinctive difference. The style you have played is ideal for the end of an Hard Trance/Hard Style SET. True peak time Tunage.
A nice change from the typical German/Italian sound.

Is there any chance i could get a copy of your mix on CD mate?
I'd love to blast that round in the motor!

P.S Could you recommend me any labels in that style? I defintley want to look into that style more. Also How long does recessrecords take to deliver and can you just use your swith card online as normal?

Nice on chaz, got your CD midway through last week.
quality mixing, very tight, and good fades!!!
When your mixing out of 'Hard bass Power' and the incoming tune breaks, but you leave the dopeman Vocal in over the top (its when you keep breaking the vocal up) are you using the Fader or the Gain??
It sounds quality and i tend to do it, but you break it up that good it seems to me your using the Gains to cut it in and out.
I noticed you did thie a bit in your Mix

cut the level down by using the gain when it's in the mix, kill the bass and then flick the down/up fader on the off beat, so that the first part of the vocal comes in with more of a punch and tails off slightly for the end - then towards the end of trick, begin to turn up gain to get more volume and impact...

Hahaha...........some nice practice for me.
Like i said i tend to do it myself, but i just want to get it sounding a little more crisper and i was curious on how you where doing it.
But its something to concentrate and really work on to spice up your mixes!
