Hellfish @ Lakota last Saturday was awesome! His last tune was a hardcore techno version of "Everybody was kung-foo fighting". I think he said it was something he was working on at the moment & was a possible Deathchant release. If it is a future Deathchant, keep an eye out for it. It was fu*king madness! :rambo:

Haven't been keeping up with 'Chant recently, gonna have to sort that out...

I swear this track was pure quality! Starts off with the old "woah ooh ooooh! *dingy diny dingy digy ding ding*" of everyboy was kung foo fighting for about 1 minute on loop, before the "everybody was" vocal comes in and then BANG! All hell breaks loose!! :rambo: I hope this is a future Deathchant release...

Not a lot has impressed me from Deathchant recently, although i missed the last couple of releases. The album dissapointed as far as i'm concerned, just nothing fresh. I remember when the second LP dropped though years back, and everyone dissed it to death, only for HellFish to come back like a freight train with tracks such as The Uridium Project and Head Grit...

I really like the Drug Skill album. Although I do know what you mean when you say there wasn't much fresh.

Do you pick up anything on Hong Kong Violance?

That has been one of my prefered hardcore labels over the past couple of years...

Nah, can't say I have. I find it hard to get any half decent labels round here. Have to order everything from UM. Recommend any thing from the label to check out? :eh:

Ahhh, Butterfly VIP...awesome stuff.

Limited edition 500 copies...when we were in Holland last month for Masters of Hardcore we cleared Midtown out of all 8 copies it had. Can't have pleased the Dutch punters too much ;)

Radium's Full Metal EP on Epiteth back in day was unbelievable, some of the best production i've heard in music, full-stop!!

Dunno what happened to him though, most of his recent s**t has been very un-inspiring, to say the least...

manu le malin's dj sets are savage, hard as frozen walnuts. His productions though take a different vein and are a bit more of an acquired taste.

Micropoint are unreal:
Neurophonie and Anaesthesie International are two must haves for everyone.

Anybody recommend any similar stuff?

Yeah man, i was feelin The Producer remix more, but liked the other tunes too...

Not bad, but hardly a strong release when compared to the classics of Rebel Scum...

The Double Pack Remix EP was over-rated too...

Still good, it's just that over the years i grew to expect to be blown away by every Chant/Scum release, and that just isn't case anymore...

nah...the best material they released was on deadend (2 and 6). Nowadays since micropoint split, radiums stuff is never industrial or hard an althouh is very well produced lacks any real feeling.

Yea mate, it was a PA. I spoke to Luke (Producer) about it on Saturday & he said it was a Hellfish remix that was being released soon as a 4 track EP. They are waiting for some French geezer to finish his mix.
