Here is a Live PA record for a commercial CD release.
This will be online for a very short time
http://mysite.freeserve.com/dirty_bass_records/mixes/Dirty_Bass_Light_From_Darkness.mp3

It`s a mix of styles from hard and dark to deep euphoric, and unfortunatly, my new kit still hasn`t arrived, so I didn`t get to do some of the stuff I wanted to.

Thank you folks.
This is gonna be the style of my working PA, which I am hoping to tour with in the summer.
Do you think this kind of thing will go down well? as I cover a broad range of styles, and most PA`s seem to be either hard, or funky, or minimal only.
Do you think this kind of a journey is too alienating?

Nah I don't think so.. it still bangs hard, and it's got a nice flow to it I think variation like this is key to an exceptional listening/dancing experience.

ok I gotta take this down before monday, so anyone interested best get it while you can, I only ask that you do not re-distribute via soulseek or any other, which is only fair.

I understand totally, you go to a record shop, and listen to stuff, (loud) in headlhones, battling against the shops soundsystem.
The amaount of times I have got stuff, brought it home and then listened and gone "why the hell did I get that?"
And also have heard stuff at a club that rocks , that I rejected in the shop, DOH!!!!

I listen to everything online, so I can blast it through proper speakers now.

 brilliant!! im so happy to hear some techno i love that isnt screamingly fast or just a wall of noise! it seems like so many people are focusing on the mashy noisy 4/4 loop techno they forget the importance of a good rhythm. great job. every time i listen to it i like it more.

Cheers folks, all your comments are encouraging and very helpful to me.
Sometimes I feel a little cut off, as I don`t subscribe to a particular style, and dip my fingers in to a lot of paint pots.
It`s good to know that my mix of styles can be appreciated by someone other than myself.

hmmm, i must admit theres one track i've grown to dislike. its the one with the vocals talking about something (i forget what).

the track itself is solid enuf but the vocal doesnt sound right. i'm not keen on the filter used on it or the actualy sound of the vocal. which is a shame as the stuff he says could really work. i guess its just personal preference at the end of the day

still love the pa tho - one track that i'm not keen on out of (how many?) if fukin good going i think

If it`s the guy speaking with an american drawl, then that`s william burroughs the infamous cut-up author. There`s no filter, he just has a fuked up voice.

There is no other way to describe this PA as simply "Marvelous"!

Way to go man keep up the good work. Your sounds are great, and your transitions worked out just fine.
