hmmmm.... tbh im in a bit of a quandary with mike stuff recently...

they all start so well and i love the mood of all his tracks, but with nearly all ive heard of late i find my self bored of the riff before its even kicked in...

they always tend to be a 1 or 2 bar melody that fits over all the bassnotes, and just gets repeated ad nauseum...

id absolutely fking love to see him just go off on one and write a 16 or 32 bar riff that makes you go "oooh...

Totally agree mate... i was well interested in the intro but as you say you knew what the riff was going to be like before it had happened, he's just rinsed this formula a touch to much i reckon.

agree that its definately not the most mind blowing thing from mr m.i.k.e. but it still proper lush... i guess when you know the guys capable of such trance lushness that anything thats not incredible kinda falls short of your preconceptions... expectations??... :eh:

also it is a remix... he did use just a small part of the original riff and make it sound hypnotic... im sure we can expect some more lushness from his original releases... anyone know when hes puttin out a new push or plasticboy?? :notworthy:
