Hi,

Here's a HS track I did yesterday.

I'm not a huge fan of it myself (HS that is), but I was asked to do one by a mate here.

See what ya think. It's not totally finished as yet.

Not a bad effort mate. Nice Bassline, but kick needs to be Heavier, sounding a bit weak at the moment.
Noticed a few things need tidying up and get the production a little tighter, noticed a few things a 'little' out.
Good build-up before the main Kick, kicked in nicely, again get the Kick-Drum harder (will suit the Bass more)
I liked the fact that it sounded fresh, got some good varied sounds in there giving the tune a Dark feel. Some good ideas aswell, it's rolling along nicely when it kicks, the industrial and electro type sound complement each other well.

hehe i was gunna use samples from Event Horizon soon , dam , heh

nice hat work
defo beef up the beat , bass is ruff yum

vocal work is clever , nice ,

break down is ace ,

not to sure about how high pitched the beep melody is , hurts my ears , or am i being a tart !

clever melody structure , works well with feel of the tune , bit repetitive though , add 1 mopre layer at the end maybe !

overall good tune , few tweeks here and there nuttin drastic ,

cheers for the comments. will have a look at the things u said. i'llprob remove some of the treble off the main line after the break, cos it is a bit ear pearcing! :twisted:

i actually cut the sample out of Event Horizon on my PC here. jsut watched the DVD and recorded the sound straight into cool pro at the same time. then cut out the bit i wanted. ;) use it anyway.... might as well.

i'll update it once it's totally done in a week or so.
