I've been listening to 31 live sets from Q-Dance and other events and sets on things like IDT. Why oh why is there SO MANY hardstyle tunes on there I've NEVER heard before? Some of the sets date back to 2002, and I can honestly say there is some amazing stuff on there that I've never heard on all of the places I shop at for vinyl.

They are typical hardstyle tracks, much more progressively building with the percussive. They have typical high pitch synth with spin offs of hennes & cold bass lines, but they are far more entertaining tracks than most stuff I hear when I go on a mission to listen to as much hardstyle as I can find.

I will post a few clips of the tunes I mean soon, I find the concept of me missing a huge amount of quality hardstyle tracks scary and frustrating, but I know nobody else to ever play them too.

Lady Dana again is the biggest culprit of playing many tunes that are wicked amoungst the classical examples hard style tunes.

simple solution mate.

get on www.screamerhardstyle.com forum and check the liveset tracklist section. ;)

theres not many tunes ive heard on a liveset that i havent been able 2 get. the guys on here know their stuff. As long as u know the naem and date of the liveset u'll get the full tracklist. Good luck.

One aspect you have to take into account is that a lot of the unkown or unavailable on vinyl tunes are the producers playing their own stuff that has never seen any release.

When you can get hold of them though it's good because you can pick up real nice tunes that not many in the UK will own. The only drawback I find is that when livesets are recorded sometimes the track can sound a lot better (usually because the bass is heavier) that what it is when you actually get hold of it on vinyl
