Do you really need all the sub names? :eh: I don't think you do. What I class as funky techno, others do not. So to save hassle lets just call it all techno. Surely thats how it should be init? :eh:

no, people have to be specific with me. if it says techno on there, then thats like saying 'classical', techno is the definitive underpinning so you know what ballpark you're in, but then there are SO many different angles on it that its unfair just to put the one word

eg - si, i bet you might be a bit disapointed if i put techno on one of my flyers and you turned up and it was 110bpm minimal dub techno. i'm not saying you'd hate it or disapprove, but you'd feel a bit misled.

same as if i turned up to a night labelled techno, and it was lots of hard house and hard dance and things people PRESUMED could be filed under techno, i'd want my money back!!
