cheesey vocals
Am I the only one who is getting a little irritated by cheesey vocals in tunes. I've just bought 'tales from a vinyl' on Titanic, which is an absolute stormer of a tune, but has some bloke saying ' put your hands in the air repeatedly' in it. Other tunes such as kaze 'no rules' and that new Dr K tune are other examples of how to ruin a tune with cheesey vocals. I love the darkness of the Traccid vocals in tunes such as 'dj's nightmare' and all acids. Uberdruck also manage to use vocals and samples really cleverly without the cheesey vocals. Does anyone else get piffed off wi this?
Cut out the cheeese and keep to the beats!

i do, i bought ZX Scream the other day because its a pounding tune, but now after a few plays im not really into it anymore, the vocals just do your head in. its all about to kick in and then "i wanna hear you scream", it would be ok once or maybe twice but its just too much and spoils the tune. but tunes like the Dr k or others that have a vocal though the break i dont mind

Uberdruck are the masters of 'catchy' sick vocals. They really like using them in their traks but they sound great and create a dark atmosphere.
One of my fav vocals of all time is actually in Tracid Traxx. The A*S*Y*S 'Acid Headcracker' tune. Cracker of a Tune and Vocal.
But, i do agree with you about the cheesey vocals. The DR.K tune i really like, but the lyrics/vocal in the break is apalling.
Kai Tracid always uses poor vocals aswell.
