A slightly later start to the new year than intended, but, despite one month-long, post-crimbo hangover and a few venue uncertainties, The Outlet Collective are pleased to announce their return to The Rhythm Factory for the first S.E.N.D. event of 2003 on Friday 2nd May. We are doubly happy to say that, in 2003, Outlet promise to get with the times(and technology - No, we didn't blag a lift in the Tardis!), and, as a result, this event will be the official launch party for the long over-due Outlet Collective website(more info to follow...). To help us mark this relatively 'monumentous'(Beleive!) occasion we have decided to adopt an even more dancefloor-orientated approach and, once again, handpicked our guests to ensure maximum turntable terrorism. First up - On the main 'Dancefloor' - we are extremely pleased to unleash FLUX resident & 3-deck bad-bwoy, RYAN BLACKMAN, who over the course of the last few years has not only spun alongside the likes of Underground Resistance, Stacey Pullen, The Space DJz and Claude Young, but also, on a monthly basis throughout 2002, shook the foundations of South London's Redstar under the banner of his very own night, HEIST(Stay tuned for an imminent return!), which provided invaluable exposure for a wide range of lesser known(but equally as talented!) DJs. Ryan will, alongside OC noize-maker STEWART LOWMAN, be performing their debut collaborative set across 4decks and 2mixers - More than just a 'djing-gimmick', with 2 such technically adept Djs this should truly be something special! Likewise, we eagerly anticipate, in their very first appearance at an Outlet event, South London's true disciples of the 808, the inimitable REBEL INTELLIGENCE. In a special, one off, soundclash we declare the dancefloor in the 'Lounge' well and truly open for business as the R.I. posse throwdown alongside Outlet's very own array of Electro 'fetishists' - Expect ass-shakin' basslines and enough B-Boy attitude to make even the most jaded old-skool-hed jump up to get down!
Need further convincing? Well... as well as the usual suspects from the Outlet DJ crew completing the line-up, the outright party atmosphere of the previous event is guaranteed to be repeated as, yet again, we have multiple birthdays within' the Outlet Family... As always, we hope to see ya there!
