im intrested in what you guys/girls think of hard techno at the moment.personally im really losing faith in it,yeah theres still a little good stuff coming out now an again,but basically its becoming fairly boring in my opinion.downwards sumed it up perfectly for me on wez's site; its lacking depth.
what does every1 think,agree/disagree???
like anything its ok in moderation.
listening to hard techno sets now compared to sets in say 2000/2001 its obvious to hear that the standard of records back then is far,far better. the tunes seem to be gettin churned out at a hell of a rate thesedays,the majority being pretty average,the odd slipping through which are very decent.
i think a lot of hard techno now imo seems to have lost that funk edge to it and maybe needs to get back to that again.
but like anything there is some good hard techno gettin released,its just a case of hunting through the crap to find it.
Hardtechno is great.. as long it's still techno, quality. And not just some brainless banging.. (Kremer etc)

well hard techno like surgeon was playing at locked is just qulaity music has so much more to it than the kremer stlye of hard techno.
it all depends!
I still like hardtechno, there are still lots of good artists! for example seema. but I think the market is oversized at the moment, too many small labels that just put out release after release ignoring a quality standard.
im not talkin kremer style,im talkin hard techno in general......
