ProTools/Reason Inquiry

Me and my boys have been racking our brains about this one...weve recently updated to ProTools for OS X and are having problems getting Reason to start playing using ProTools. we can run reason and then go into ProTools but we cannot get it to start and stop thru ProTools...is this a normal problem and well just have to deal or is there a fix to this problem and help would be greatly appreciated.....

according to the pros website only pro tools 6.1 supports rewire, so if youve anything lower than that the softwares not gonna sync up

if you had a pc as well you could have reason running on that as a rewire slave to cubase and have cubase and protools synched up

thatd do the job, but its a fairly messy way to do things if you just want protools and reason to sync
