they make their money by charging to list you on their roster....
i always believed you shouldnt have to pay to register with agencies, but perhaps i'm wrong? i know that's the case with modelling agencies and shit, but DJ agency? what if you dont get any gigs?Code:WE DO NOT CHARGE OUR DJs or PROMOTERS A BOOKING FEE FOR OUR SERVICES.
How do I register?
You can be listed on http://www.uk-djs.net for just £75 per year.
You can be listed on http://www.euro-djs.net for just £100 per year.
YOU CAN BE LISTED AS AN ARTIST ON BOTH AGENCY ROSTERS FOR £125 per year.
i've been "accecpted" , but should i pay to be listed? i'm not listed anywhere else or belong to any other agencies, so am in the dark....
Aye, some clarity here would be appreciated...Quote:

IMO Dj agency's should make their money from taking a cut from the dj's wages. You shouldnt have to pay just to be listed with them. I would of thought that bigger djs such as Uberdruck, Alex calver ect dont have to pay to be with agency's such as Airborne. I might be wrong be its just the way i see it ;)
you can only realy pay the agency when you get the bookings, else its pointless as you might not get many
I've been on the TDC agency for about 2+ years and I have never had to pay, or had any of my wages taken by the agency. Sounds like a load of shit to me. What happens if Joe Blog's signs up, pays his money & doesn't get any bookings because he's not very well known then? :?:
all sounds sus to me :roll:Quote:
