On Thursday we host a very special night of music in the form of
a very rare classic techno set from the legendary Dutch producer Steve
Rachmad. Steve first played the club last year when he surprised us all
with a fantastic set of electro and 80's New Romantic classics. On his
second appearance back in March he showed another side to his amazing
versatility by delivering a set of dark driving techno which constantly
sent the dancefloor into a frenzy. This time Steve will be taking us on
journey into his record collection by playing his all time favourite
techno records and a few of his own stellar productions no doubt. This
will be a killer trip down techno's memory lane with some golden moments
sure to be heard. Requests are being taken now!

This is something we are proud and excited to be hosting at Electric
City as Steve very rarely does this type of set. It is testament to the
crowd at EC that he feels as comfortable in whichever type of set he
plays.

Support comes from EC regular and Moodyman worshipper Dan Power who will
be supplying some smacked-out grooves for the opening hour. We also
welcome back Matt Chester from 11th Hour recordings in London to play
before Steve. Matt played an amazing set alongside Shawn Rudiman in
October and it is a pleasure to have him back again so soon.
