Virus .
the bass station is a mono synth , so will only play one note at a time , i believe both the virus and nord are polyphonic .
where could i pick one up outwith ebay?

ok quick run down:
virus = jack of all trades (aparently) and currently very popular. rich sounding.
nord lead = good for bright cutting sounds but you're better off getting a nord modular if you want something to grow with. it will will also give you the nord lead type sounds if you wish.
bass station = zzzzzz. pretty limited i guess.
