nice tracklist, very varied, the way more sets need to be. if your other sets are anything to go by this should be good.

Great mix Sam - best yet. Mixing's tight as a gnat's chuff and well constructed. You need more recognition for your talent!

You should be playing more sets at Darkside et al IMHO as a resident, instead of the usual suspects.....

Just seems like the same names ie you and Jorge seem to be cropping up quite a lot of the time. I'm not trying to start an argument here. It's just that I remember Paul saying that part of the Darkside's initial philosophy was that it was supposed to be resident free.............

Aye, you are quite right Chris, we did say that but the night has been running for 1 year next month and I have played there 3 times and Jorge the same ( maybe 4 ) and there has always been a local dj on with either myself or Jorge. As a joint promotor of the night I could quite easily turn round and say I'm playing every month and go for the glory but I have given up set's to make sure someone else' set went ahead.

We have had numerous local dj's warming up, including this month's event with Spencer and Tiptoe. Next months event is the birthday party so myself and jorge will be playing ( time permitting due to late license application pending ). Future warm up guests have not been finalised but if we receive the right stuff that fits the bill for that nights music policy then we will make sure that it gets played.

Darkside as a club still believe in bringing through local talent and Sam is definately one of the best talents around at the moment so you take that how you want but I believe that if people support us then we will support them. Is that too much to ask ?

Hope this sorts it out for you Chris and don't be a stranger down the club ;)

Cheers for the CD Sam - Most appreciated. This mix is different to the last few from you.....a bit more "moody" and dark, but I really enjoyed it. Perfect mixing again :clap:
