This Saturday April 9th, 2005 we are coming at you once again with the 2nd edition in our low priced .99 cents series, The Price is Right!! The Hook will once again be hosting us for the evening- those of you in attendance for $9.99 know the deal with this place!! Plenty of dancing space, totally insane sound system, that "old school" feel and a kick ass club staff make The Hook one of the best party venues to come around in a long time. We will be bringing in a special visuals and lights show for this one, with projector screens in both the basement and main room! For those of you who have not been to the club, it has 2 floors/2 rooms of sound and an outside chill area! A twelve year veteran of the London underground dance scene, DDR has unleashed his own brand of techno / trance on many labels and at many parties / raves / clubs / festivals around the globe. A meeting of minds between DDR and the then newly formed Liberator DJ trio led to a first vinyl release for DDR on Stay Up Forever no. 2. A pioneer of what was to become the London Acid Techno sound, DDR was the first guest producer to appear on Stay Up Forever and he has had a hand in many of their most memorable releases and is still one of their most prolific artists. This guy hasn't played NYC in over 5 years so get ready for some acid techno served up PROPER by one of it's true ORIGINATORS!!!

Directions by train:
Take the F Train to the "Smith and 9th" street station in Brooklyn. Get off the train and make a right on W.9th street. Take this down approximately 4 blocks to Hamilton Avenue, which runs along the BQE overpass. Cross under the overpass and make a right onto Hamilton Avenue. It is important to cross under the overpass before turning right. Walk about 3 blocks down Hamilton Avenue. You will come to a contruction area with a walkway- go on the walkway and make a left after the area, this will be Luquer Street. Go down one block and this turns into Commerce Street. The venue is directly on your right, 18 Commerce Street.
