Hello Again,
With so much going on here at Redemption HQ, we thought it was a time to give an update as to what we are up to with our new releases and signings.
CALIFORNIA (INSPIRED 4) “A BIG HIT WITH FERRY CORSTEN”
Ferry Corsten, one of the worlds leading DJs and producers at the moment (well you can't argue really what with his Tsunami label and the fact that he is no ... in the worlds top 100 DJs) has been supporting Inspired Records number 4 in most of his sets at the moment. Not only that but Trance Around The World hosts, Above + Beyond have been playing it on their show and also Michael Splint, Menno De Jong, Nick The Kid and Albert
Vorne (Mazeman) are caining the life out of it.
NEW FATKID “BIG WITH JULES”
Anonymous heroes Fatkid have been amazing us with the remixes they have been churning out of popular classics. The latest one to be reworked from their stable is the legendary 'Voco Me' by Icon. When this originally came out on Low Spirit, all the big names were on it and it was a particularly huge favourite of Redemption's Louk. Thankfully, this 2005 reworking does justice to the rather huge original and gives it an updated edge. If you don't believe us then certainly ask Radio 1's top DJ Judge Jules, who recently played it on
his Saturday night show.
NEW SIGNING STEVE FINNEY'S ON FIRE!
We at Redemption HQ have recently signed top producer Steve Finney to our collective and he has come up with a multitude of amazing releases that we cannot wait to put out. Steve may be better known to you and his JS Ten alias, having worked on a wide variety of tracks and remixes for labels such as Blueprint Audio, 90 Degrees North, Bulletproof, Sugar Free Music, Endeavour, Sectioned and many more. As well as this he may be known by his production aliases of Whitehouse Project (for Nukleuz, with Steve Knight), Yertari, Isis, Steve F, Jo-Jo amongst others. His debut for us, "The Ancients", is a rip roaring trancer that has already won favour with the select DJs who were lucky enough to get a copy. With it being a Solid State Sol Selections winner, having 46% of the listener votes.
YET MORE RADIO PLAY
Radio 1's Dave Pearce is still playing our Cosmic Freefall, this has to be one of the biggest releases around at the moment with almost every big name trance club in Europe playing it every weekend. More whites are to come from the top producers behind this bootleg.
Paul Kershaw is man of the moment here at Redemption HQ, with not only giving our JS Ten productions exposure, he also is playing the life out of Prognesia feat San Andreas - California (mentioned in detail below), on his peak time Galaxy FM show!
The fun doesn't stop with the above as Dave R + Tricky from Ram Air 1350 MW/AM in Yorkshire have been caining the life out of some of our recent and forthcoming releases. On a recent show during a techno mix, Dave dropped our tracks Kay D Smith - "Where Is The Beagle", Dirty Bass - "Suk Satans Kok" and Dirty Bass + Jimfish - "The Choke" in a whirlwind techno mix, which we are ecstatic about. Let's just hope there are many fans of Techno in Yorkshire who appreciate the sheer brutality and brilliance of these masterpieces.
To go with this, Scottish legend Malcolm Macdonald from Lochbroom FM has been supporting Barry Diston + Stevie G - "The One" and Krister Torkelsen - "Lfo'd" both in his chart and on his radio show.
PRESS REVIEWS
We are still awaiting reactions from the press from our recent mailout but Tom Harding (Holland's number 1 DJ) is reviewing both Inspired New Talent 3 (Krister Torkelsen - Lfo'd) and S2 (Unknown - Song 2) for I-DJ Magazine's hard dance pages next issue. What a legend!
Graham Gold of Kiss FM had the following things to say about Progresia presents San Andreas - California on his website (www.grahamgold.com):
What is about San Andreas, as it’s also the title of the very excellent Jochen Miller/Cor Fijneman track!! This has the making to be another big gun for sure, good old big room euphoric trance with a vengeance. Most of the riffs are computer generated but the main lead is a nicely played melodic padded affair. Though it may not be anything knew, all the ingredients mix up nicely, giving you a happy tummy to boot.
