It's called the Alesis AIR FX...
I liked it alot but
A) it was a pain to hook up to the mixer in a live club senario.
B) it broke on me twice during using it in a club (the second time it produced a really loud pop sound and i don't think the sound guy was too happy with me!)
sure, get one... but the allen and heath mixer is the daddy for that filter technique you're talking about.
experienced these sort of devices before... would love to hear about any other sort of things that you use.
