This Thursday Christian Smith jets in by Royal EC appointment from his new
base by the sea in Barcelona for a three deck techno assault on Electric
City. Whether he is playing stadium techno to thousands of screaming
Chileans on a Saturday afternoon or warming up for Sven und Richie on a
Monday night at his now defunct Tronic Treatment club in NYC, Smith's truly
an internationally renowned DJ who has more air-miles than a pigeon with no
feet. A regular to these shores, techno's 007 has already put in
show-stealing performances at the Colourfest Festival, Transmission in
Tralee and the Tivoli to name a few. Smith is one of the worlds leading DJs
and producers and his appearance this week will kick out the Traffic jams.

This will be his debut appearance at EC and his tough tribal 3 deck sets are
guaranteed to leave you shaken not stirred. Support comes from our very own
Miss Moneypenny and EC regular Eddie Brennan. Eddie Van Buuren is fast
taking over the mantle of Dublin's most handsome DJ with more female
admirers
than a 'Plancksharpener bares all' spread in DJHM. Since last playing EC
Eddie 20 from Meath has played quality sets ranging from tripped out minimal
grooves to hard no-nonsense techno at Test, Compression and TechnoLogic
Expect him to keep deep, minimal and ultra cool on Thursday and ladies,
please give the man some space.
