looks like a very powerful tool for artists to start pushing boundaries in the visual area as well as audio.
what is it with music and visuals? most people i meet that create some form of electronic music are seriously into the visual arts. i know numerous people from the board that are into it, berkovi produces graphics for websites etc, landstrumm runs a really sucessful graphics firm working with companies as big as rockstar games.
y is this? are the visual and audible parts of our brains linked in some way?
sure, makes sense doesn't it? it's easy to think about sound in terms of shape (suggests a theme or feeling), size (volume), color (intensity), depth, etc.. i have a friend who is primarily a graphic designer who always talks about his muisc as if it's a visual entity. there's that clip speedy j once included in his music, him talking about the music as shape and movement. sounds to me very often have an immediate suggestion of shape or dimensionalness... etc etc.Quote:

Synesthesia is an involuntary joining in which the real information of one sense is accompanied by a perception in another sense.
