Hoovers in Hardstyle???
In my oppinion hoovers were well over used n died a bit of a death in the UK when Hardhouse went under (or lost a lot of it's pop),
Now people like Trance Gen's are droppin hoovers into hardstyle recs, do you all think they work? Or do u think they should be left alone...?
I prefered likin the Trance Generators recs for the gimmicky percussion n bangin basses, twisted drum stabs etc... Hoovers make it sound a tad hardhousey? What do u all reckon??
Works sometimes but I hope I don't start 2 hear more of em.

I agree with you that hoovers was used heavily in hard house and as a result sort became a trade mark feature of it. I think if you use it properly they can be mental, i.e Technoboy - Harddrive!
Trance Generators mix of Rock To Da Beat! Pure Evil and a beautiful warped bass line. Saying that I do prefer good percussion over hoovery stabs but I wont object to them being used it they are used well.

Well said, I can agree with u on that one. I just don't want all the hardhouse producers to start hearing hoovers in hardstyle n think "Weeeeeyyyy hoovers are back! Lets start makin hardstyle!"
Next thing you know you've got Ingo makin hardstyle n it all goes Bill Oddie...
We'll have 2 wait n see!

Good call on Hard House producers. Not thought of it that way and this could be a ticket for blag city for them, and it wouldn't be a return as they eye'ing up living here until it's time to move on... (generally when all the money to be made is gone!).
I think Hardstyle fans have to be strong, and only buy the decent and true hardstyle stuff... (if that's possible!) as then the Hard House producers hopefully will leave alone the genre because they can't sell any of there quick sale productions.
